WATER BULLETIN ON 05.01.2016
- Managing Director, HMWSSB has reviewed the quality of water being supplied in O&M Division III, Mehdipatnam with the General Manager(E) O&M Division-III and QAT, General Manager.
- It is to clarify that Godavari water is not supplied to O&M Division No III and only Krishna water and part of Osman Sagar water is being supplied
- Regularly water samples are being collected during supply hours. In past one week 200 No’s samples are checked for RC by QAT wing and found with sufficient levels of residual chlorine in the areas Golconda, Langer house, Risala bazaar, Moti Darwaza, Defence Colony, Decent Colony, Saber Nagar, Shaheed Nagar, Shanker Nagar, Bada Bazar, Tallagadda, Karwan, Joshiwadi, Sanjay Nagar, Ziaguda, Indira Nagar, Murad Nagar, Jagadambha Nagar, Mallepally, Tolichowki, Janaki Nagar, Samatha Colony, Aditya Colony from 24th Dec 2015 to till today.
The following works are under progress
a) Ramsinghpura of Karwan, rectification of pollution work is going on by replacing damaged 100mm dia Old RCC Water Supply Line with 100mm dia DI Water Line (Length 100 RMT) which is running parallel to Strom Water Drain and also replacing the damaged 150mm dia old sewer line is replacing with 250mm dia SWG Sewer Line(30 running metre) (MCC No 2705 dated 30.12.2015). Work will be completed within 5 days.
b) Mandulaguda of Gudimalkapur, Mehdipatnam section , Rectification of pollution is in progress by changing the damaged old PPC 15mm dia GI pipes by 15mm dia MDPE pipes near about 20 no. of houses around H.No 12-2-635 is in progress , work will be completed within 4 days.
c) Kings palace function hall of Gudimalkapur as the old water supply connections of public stand post which is catering supply to huts(slums) are passing through storm water drain. Rectification of work is in progress by replacing the damaged GI public stand post connection with new MDPE pipe connections.
Managing Director once again instructed all O&M Division General Manager’s, Dy. GM’s and Managers to inspect during supply hours and check for quality of water being supplied regularly.
