Ten complaints relating to billing, low pressure, inadequate water supply, Sewerage Overflow etc., from areas like S.R.Nagar, Chanchalguda, Safilguda, Bowenpally, Gowliguda, Yousufguda, Hafeezpet etc., were received at “DIAL UR MD”, HMWSSB programme held at Board Office, Khairatabad on 23.04.2016. The Managing Director Sri.M.Dana Kishore, IAS, assured to redress the complaints and instructed the concerned General Managers (E) to attend to the same immediately and send Action Taken Reports (ATR) to Head office.

The Managing Director instructed the General Managers(Engg.) to rectify “No water supply”, “Pollution” Complaints on the top Priority.


Earlier, the Managing Director reviewed among other issues 100 Days Action Plan including progress of Rain Water Harvesting structures; Summer Action Plan, Pre-Monsoon Action Plan, Pollution Hot Spots etc,.

The Managing Director instructed the General Managers(Engg.) to complete the 1000 Rain Water Harvesting  Structures as quickly as possible. Already 372 have been completed, 377 in progress.

Regarding Summer Action Plan, all the sanctioned works should be completed by 1st week of May.

Regarding Pre-Monsoon Action Plan the Managing Director said committee headed by Executive Director, selected Chief General Managers(Engg.), General Managers(Engg.) would prepare a plan of action keeping in view of automation of sewerage maintenance system, procurement of new big and small Air-Tech Machines, Silt-Carrying vehicles. The Pre-Monsoon Action Plan should be implemented from 15th May to 1st week of June, 2016.
