BRAIN STORMING SESSION ON PRIORITY TASKS ON 05.09.2016

Sri.M.Dana Kishore, IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB conducted brain storming sessions on various Priority tasks of HMWSSB for improving overall organizational efficiency at Center for Good Governance(CGG) Gachhibowli on Wednesday 5th October 2016.

The first Priority task was about conditional assessment study of Trunk Sewer Mains- using of trenchless technology-taking up of work including ‘A’ Main and K&S(Kukatpally to Secunderabad Nala) Main. He said the assessment study should be completed by 30th October 2016 and work tender by November end, 2016 and work be commenced from 1st December 2016.

Similarly, the hiring of mini Air-Tech Machines for cleaning of sewers in lanes and by lanes should be completed by October end 2016, he added.

On reduction of Non-Revenue Water(NRW) he said a study by consultant  should be made to study leakages, rectification or suggestions for construction of new reservoirs for age-old reservoirs constructed more than 50 years under HMWSSB.

He also discussed about the redressal of JAL App complaints and directed that the complaints should be attended and monitored on daily basis.

Rationalization of O&M Sections for controlling effectively, Geo-tagging of manholes, reducing number of water connections in each docket for better billing, formation of solar project, energy audit of major pumping stations, fixing of water meters by Board from January 2017, revenue improving models, timelines to be furnished for completion of reservoir works, laying of inlet/outlet distribution mains, road restoration proposals under peripheral water supply project etc., were other tasks discussed on the occasion.
