MD’S REVIEW MEETING ON 15.02.2017
Sri. M. Dana Kishore, IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB, reviewed Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Revenue issues with Dy.General Managers(Engg.), O&M Wing & GMITRAS here on Wednesday the 15th February 2017 at Board Office.
He directed that rectification of all the 600 hotspots (frequent sewerage overflows, pollution complaints) should be completed in next four months.
The Managing Director instructed the Dy.General Managers(Engg.) and GMITRAS to ensure public participation in that they construct silt chambers and help in rectification of hotspots. He said that the estimates for rectification of hotspots would be sanctioned and if the identified customers who were responsible for occurrence of hotspots even after due information to construct silt chambers do not do so, then penalties would be levied against them. Mainly the customers who fall in this category were hostels, hotels, messes, hospitals, function halls, dairy farms.
He said that Board was a Public Utility Organization and customer satisfaction was utmost.
He directed that while JALApp complaints should be increased and MCC complaints decreased. This would reduce burden on customers. All the JALApp complaints and the complaints coming in Social Media(Twitter, Face book) should be attended within SLA(Service Level Agreement) period.
While rectifying the customer complaints within SLA the Managing Director said that percentage of customer satisfaction should be increased.
He reiterated that disconnection of water supply/sewerage connections of commercial defaulters should continue, and ensure that all the commercial connection defaulters for more than Six months should be disconnected invariably. Red Corner Notices should be displayed on the premises of defaulters including Government Offices to pay up their arrears. The Managing Director instructed the Dy.General Managers(Engg.) to ensure that all these commercial defaulters pay up their dues before March end,2017. He directed them if these defaulters do not pay up arrears then in coordination with GHMC, see that their trade licenses were cancelled. An Audit Team from head office would check the status of disconnections.
