The 53^rd Indian Water Works Association (IWWA) Annual Convention was held at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Madhapur on 05-3-2021. Sri Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Hon’ble Speaker TSLA has inaugurated the convention by lightening the lamp.  On occasion the speaker has elaborated about the various water related schemes that are being implemented by the newly created Telangana State. Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha, Kaleshwaram Project are among them. The  Chief Minister has also sanctioned 20,000 litres Free Drinking Water Supply to every domestic and slums areas in the Hyderabad  City. Dr. M. Satyanarayana, Executive Director of HMWSSB was elected as new chairman of IWWA for the year 2021-22.
