The Managing Director, HMWSSB in the meeting held on 25-03-2021 on the progress of 20 KL Free Drinking Water has stated that the Government has given 30-04-2021 as last date for Aadhaar Linkages and hence all the HMWSSB staff are to speed up the process. A total of 500 teams have been engaged to work at the ground level by visiting house to house for Aadhaar Linkage and also for fixing of new meters. Out of 7,64,568 connections in domestic category only 152588 connections have only completed Aadhaar Linkage and out of 22111 Bulk / MSB connections only 1594 are linked with Aadhaar. This shows very poor performance at the ground level and hence all the staff from Excutive Director level to Manager level are to work hard and speed up the process before last date.
