Sri K.T. Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minister for MA&UD has launched a 40 KLD Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant of Nallacheruvu through Virtual on 17-07-2021 from People’s Plaza, Necklace Road, Hyderabad. This plant with a capacity to treat 40 Kilo Litres per Day (KLD) built by HMWSSB to recycle the Faecal Sludge Waste collected from Septic Tanks where underground Sewerage facility is not available. On occasion the Minister has flagged off 87 Septic Tank Cleaning Vehicles. The Water Board has crossed another milestone through the establishment of FSTP’s.

The FSTP’s will treat the waste collected from septic tanks of villages within the ORR. Earlier this Faecal Waste would be deposited in Lakes, Nala’s and other Water Bodies bring enormous harm to environment and public health. The Dial STP Tanker Cleaning Services are facilitated by calling 155313 / 14420. The vehicles operators have been trained by ASCI apart from providing them with uniforms and safety equipment. Hon’ble Ministers Sri Mahmood Ali, Sri T. Srinivas Yadav, Mayor GHMC and other Public Representative attended the function.
