The Managing Director, HMWSSB has reviewed and directed the officers on 06-01-2022 in Board office to expedite ORR-2 works undertaken at a cost of Rs.1200 crore to provide drinking water to Gram Panchayats, Municipalities, Municipal Corporations, Housing Layouts and Gated Communities under ORR Phase - II.

The officers must ensure that the pipeline works are to be completed within the time and the first results of ORR-2 shall be released to the public this summer.

The Managing Director has directed the officers to work out a plan to complete the ORR-2 works expeditiously. As part of this, steps should be taken to ensure that at least 50 per cent of the reservoir construction work starts in the first week of February by proper planning of Designs, Men, Machinery and Material.
