The Hyderabad Water Board has made elaborative arrangements for not only supplying of drinking water but also to monitor and ratification of water leakages and sewerage overflows, inspecting of manholes covers and repairs if any. Sri. M. Dana Kishore,IAS Managing Director, HMWSSB has instructed the officials at a meeting held on 18-09-2021 in view of the Ganesh Procession scheduled on 19-09-2021 (Sunday) the sufficient man power has to be deployed at all the 119 Drinking Water Camps along the procession to quench the thirst of devotees attending the Ganesh Immersion. He told the officials to inspect the lids on the sewers along the Ganesh Shobha Ypasses and take steps to repair them immediately. 

Based on the need, the measure are also to be taken to provide drinking water in drums too apart from sachets. The MD has stated that 119 Drinking Water Camps are to be set up across the city and to distribute 30.72 Lakh water sachets on occasion. The quality assurance teams of the Board must test the water quality from time to time and ensure that the chlorine levels in the water are in adequate quantities.
