Sri M. Dana Kishore, IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB has said the Safety Awareness Week at Work Sites organized by the HMWSSB from 25^th – 31^st May is extended till June 5 and  “Monsoon Safety Walk” for Safety audit is also being organized for awareness creation to prevent accidents if any on the vulnerable points during monsoon period. While speaking on teleconference with the all Directors, CGMs and GMs on 26-05-2022 at Board office, the MD has directed the authorities to initiate and implement the safety audit by identifying the vulnerable points in all the sections.

The Managing Director has suggested to identify the damaged manholes, manholes with no covers, deep manholes with no safety grills are to be immediately repaired and replaced the manhole covers and safety grills should be installed at deep manholes and to ensure to set up barricades and caution boards at the work sites. The identification and completion of works has to be done by 5^th June at every section and the lapse if any being observed will be viewed seriously.
