Sri M. Dana Kishore,IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB directed the officials to pay special attention for fresh water supply and proper sewage management in view of the Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations for the next 10 days from 31^st of this month.

Speaking on this occasion through teleconference with all CGMs and GMs, the MD has suggested that the preliminary management of sewage shall be completed like damaged manholes and uncovered manholes prior to commence the festival.

In view of the large-scale Vinayaka mandapas being set up across the city, he ordered to ensure that no sewage overflow and the Airtech machines shall be made available round the clock.

On the occasion of Vinayaka immersion day, the MD has instructed the officials to make necessary arrangements to provide free drinking water to all the devotees in the procession.
