Sri M. Dana Kishore, IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB has inspected the drinking water camps set up by HMWSSB for Vinayaka immersion at People's Plaza on 09-09-2022. He said that drinking water is provided every year for the devotees who come for Vinayaka immersion. A total of 196 drinking water camps have been set up across the city this year along the route of Shobhayatra for  Vinayaka immersion.

The MD said that 30.72 lakh water sachets have been made available for the devotees. He directed the officials that the chlorine levels in the water should be tested from time to time and see there are no water leakages, sewerage overflow and broken manholes in the areas where the immersion procession takes place.
