EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAMS MUST BE AVAILABLE ROUND THE CLOCK DURING MONSOON SEASON ON 15.06.2021

Sri. M. Dana Kishore, IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB hold a meeting on the Monsoon Action Plan 2021 with concerned officials at Board office on 15.06.2021 for immediate measures to be attended and see that no damages shall be reported to the Board office.  

The field officers must ensure that all the manholes are to be covered with safety grills and the entire ground level staff must be available all 24 hours in 3 shifts wearing the HMWSSB uniforms for immediate identification. The Emergency Response Team shall be deployed in all the Divisions round the clock to avoid SOFs.  The Monsoon Caution Boards are to be displayed at every Water Logging points, Deep manholes. The complaints pertain to Sewerage Overflows and Water contamination must be attended from time to time to avoid the water –borne diseases if any. The Manholes of about 10,120 which were above the Road level are already got streamlined by spending an amount of Rs 8 crores prior to the Monsoon.

The Managing Director also instructed the field staff must wear the Masks and Sanitizers duly followed the COVID Pandemic precautionary measures. Proper publicity must be given to call customer care number 155313. The Executive Director Directors, CGMs, GMs attended the meeting.
