115^th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram held at HMWSSB Board office on 05-04-2022. Sri M. Dana Kishore, MD, HMWSSB as a chief guest participated in the event laid floral tributes to Jagjivan Ram's portrait. On the occasion, MD said Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram was a great man dedicated his life for the welfare of the downtrodden. He was a prominent freedom fighter and former Deputy Prime Minister of India.

Dr. Jagjivan Ram, who was born into the Dalit caste, was a dynamic student from the school level. Also as Union Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of the country, Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram has worked hard for the rights and development of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in the country. In particular, as Union Minister of Agriculture and Food, he pioneered the Green Revolution to address food shortages in the country. He called on everyone to work hard for their aspirations.

All the Directors, Officials of HMWSSB, Water Works Employees Union Telangana, Water Board SC/ST Employees Welfare Association were also present at the event.
