HMWSSB SPECIAL ACTION PLAN ON IMPROVING REVENUE OF THE BOARD ON 21.05.2022

Sri M. Dana Kishore,IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB conducted review meeting with the officers concerned on 21-05-2022 at Board office for preparation on a Special Action Plan on improving Revenue of the Board. 

He said that 4.2 lakh consumers still have not registered for the free water scheme. They have been given a 13-month grace period to register for the Scheme. The government has already waived Rs 520 crore in bills for 13 months from December 2020 to December 2021 for all household consumers.

The consumers who have not registered for the free water supply scheme are once again requested to fix up the meters and link Aadhaar immediately to make use of the scheme.

HMWSSB has set up a call center with 30 member staff to provide information and resolve any queries on the Aadhaar linkage and bills pending & payment. An interactive WhatsApp Chatbot facility has also been set up for this purpose. 

The Managing Director has also directed the officers to prepare sections-wise plans for the ensuing Pattana Pragathi programme scheduled from 3rd June. 

The Board has planned to organize Safety Protocol Week at Work Sites from 25-05-2022 to 31-05-2022 to create awareness on the safety protocol at the work sites and the precautions are to be taken during the rainy season.
