Sri M. Dana Kishore, Managing Director, IAS, HMWSSB reviewed O&M, transmission, revenue, MCC, single window cell, AMS and other issues related to HMWSSB with the concerned officers at Board office on 05-11-2022.  The MD suggested that the applications for new water connections to the single window cell should be resolved within the deadline and also an early action must be taken to resolve the complaints received by the MCC. All the GMs, CGMs and DGMs are instructed to conduct a review of SWCs and MCCs in their area from time to time and resolve the issues.

The MD has stressed the importance of digital transformation in the board in coming days. The IT Cell is being strengthened and more mobile apps are being made available for getting closer to the users, quick resolution of problems, billing and other services. A new app will be launched for social audit on time management and quality in water supply with the details like water supply timings and quality of water will be collected from about six thousand people each day through this app. The aim is to improve the water supply and quality of the water supply. The employees will be given a comprehensive training on these apps and working system.

The MD instructed the officials to focus on the collection of dues from commercial and non-free water scheme connections. He made it clear that the dues are to be collected from the defaulters and if not the connection are to  be removed.

The MD directed officials to strictly follow the AMS procedure for O&M works, follow safety protocol strictly at all the work sites by deploying barricades and other precautionary measure.
