Sri M. Dana Kishore, IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB held a teleconference with the all the Board Directors, CGMs, GMs, DGMs and other officials at Board office on 21-07-2023. He reviewed the rain situation and directed the officials to double the water quality tests that are currently being done from today.

The respective DGMs should check the operations of sewer jetting machines for removal of flood water in flooded areas and to resolve the complaints about sewage overflows and give  priority solving the problem of chokages at public premises.

The officials were instructed to monitor the deep manholes and sewage overflowing areas time to time and appropriate action should be taken and the workers at the field level must wear protective gears like helmets, gloves, gum boots and other protective measures at the work sites.

The chlorine tablets should be distributed in flood affected areas by the Quality Analysis Wing in coordination with GHMC and police officials.
