The HMWSSB vigilance officials have booked criminal cases against three people who illegally took water connections  on 11-09-2023. Coming to the details P. Satyanarayana, T. Tirupati and Sridhar of NIN Colony under O&M Division 19, Medipally Section took illegal water connections of size 20 mm without the permission of the authorities. During the inspections of the HMWSSB vigilance officers this matter came to light and criminal cases under IPC section 430 of HMWSSB Act was registered against them at the local Medipally police station.

The HMWSSB officials have warned that criminal cases will be registered against the people who take illegal water connections without the permission of the authorities and anyone who finds illegal water connections or those who take domestic connection and use it for commercial purposes to inform the HMWSSB Vigilance Team on 9989998100, 9989992268 phone numbers.
