Sri.M. Dana Kishore, IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB had a special review meeting with the concerned officials on 27-09-2023 at Board office in connection with the steps to be taken for the ensuing Ganesh immersion scheduled on 28-09-2023.

Keeping in view of the immersion day, the MD has instructed that 122 special drinking water camps are to be set up with sufficient staff to distribute the water sachets and water drums for the public enrouted the procession for Ganesh Nimarjanam. Total of 33.50 lakh water packets are being made available to distribute in 3 shifts by providing 24-hour service to the devotees who come for immersion. The water supply has to done duly certified  by QAT team from time to time.

A special team of Nodal officers have been appointed to solve the management, supervision and arrangements of Ganesh immersion. Apart from this, two control rooms have been set up at Tank Bund and NTR Marg for monitoring. The MD also instructed the officials to ensure that the manholes in their jurisdiction in surrounding areas Ganesh Mandapams have proper lids and safety grills and repairs should be carried out at necessary places.
