Sri C. Sudharshan Reddy, IAS took charge as new Managing Director of Water Board. He took charge from Sri M. Dana Kishore, IAS on 18-12-2023 at the Board office. All the officials and employees of the Board warmly welcomed and wished the new Managing Director.

Sri C. Sudharshan Reddy is an officer of Indian Administrative Service - 2002 Batch. He worked as a sub-collector in Paderu and later he served as Municipal Commissioner of Rajamahendravaram. He worked as Joint Collector of East Godavari District and later he was posted as Deputy Commissioner in Commercial Tax Department. Also he worked as the Joint Collector of Ranga Reddy District. and later he was posted as Kurnool District Collector from 2012 to 2014.

C. Sudharshan Reddy served as Secretary to the Commissioner of Commercial Tax Department. After that he went into central services and worked as Director in Union Ministry of Labor and Employment from March 2015 to September 2017 and later served as Director in the Defense Department from September 2017 to December 2019. From January 2020 to December 17, 2023, he served as the Secretary of Municipal and Urban Development Department in Telangana State.

Meanwhile, Sri M. Dana Kishore, who worked as the Managing Director of the Water Board and  on promotion he took over the charge as the Principal Secretary of the MA&UD. M. Dana Kishore created a record as the longest serving Managing Director in the history of Water Board. He took charge in April 2016 and held the responsibilities as MD till December 2023. During his tenure, he brought revolutionary changes and reforms in IT, revenue, sanitation management and drinking water supply in the Water Board. During his period the water board has secured many National and State awards and enhanced the prestige of the Board.
