The HMWSSB has celebrated the 195^th Birthday celebrations of Mahatma Jyothi Rao Pule on 11-04-2021 wherein the Managing Director has garlanded the photograph and paid tributes. Sri Jyothi Rao Pule was struggled hard against Un-touchability and Child Marriages. Education is only the tool for the development of an individual irrespective of caste, creed and religion. On occasion, the staff from HMWSSB and Association members from BC Welfare attended.
