Sri K.T. Rama Rao, Hon’ble Minsiter for MA&UD has launched Health Insurance Scheme for HMWSSB employees at Pragathi Bhavan on 20-09-2021 and distributed the health cards to the employees in presence of Sri.Arvind Kumar, IAS,  Principal Secretary, MA&UD, Sri M. Dana Kishore, Managing Director, HMWSSB, and other HMWSSB officers.

The health insurance scheme annual medical treatment to the tune of Rs.3 Lakh would be extended to employees and their families. To this effect, the government will be paying an annual premium of Rs.6.78 crore. This would be applicable to 3,609 permanent employees, 894 pensioners and 548 families receiving pension.

The health cards which is the dream of HMWSSB employees, so as to enable them to avail the scheme even to their dependents for medical treatment in more than 1,000 private hospitals.
