In View of the sewerage management of suburban municipalities of GHMC taking over by Water Board from 1^st October 2021, Sri M. Dana Kishore, IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB has reviewed with concerned officers on 27-09-2021 for making arrangements.

Speaking on the occasion, Sri.Dana Kishore said that the authorities in the 66 GHMC wards, which are responsible for the management of the sewerage in the Water Board, are immediately to identify the hotspots in the wards and each manager are to ensure setting up a grievance register by ward wise for noting down the public grievances on sewerage related complaints. Apart from using of 155313 customer care number, he suggested to create a WhatsApp group with ward-wise CGMs, GHMC zonal commissioners, corporators and managers to coordinate without any misunderstanding on sewerage issues. He said priority should be given to resolving complaints on sewerage issues.

Arrangements are also to be made to procure the necessary equipment, machinery and labor from GHMC for the 66 wards where sewerage management will be carried out from October 1, 2021. All the O&M GMs, DGMs and Managers attended on occasion.
