Sri M. Dana Kishore, IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB along with Ravi Kumar, Director Technical, DOP - I & II Ajmira Krishna and Swamy and other concerned officials conducted a review at Board office on 30-03-2022 on the functioning of drinking water supply and sewerage in the city in the wake of the month of Ramadan and directed the officials to take necessary measures for supplying drinking water in the city without any problems in the summer. Wherever there is a problem with the water it is suggested to supply it by tanker immediately.

Authorities have been instructed to supply water by tankers to mosques wherever necessary during the month of Ramadan. The sewerage overflows are to be rectified immediately on priority and jetting machines should be made available to solve problems immediately. Also MD advised the officials to proactively address complaints made by people on drinking water and sewerage issues through social media such as Twitter and Facebook.

Further the Managing Director has also said that, in addition to the Free Tankers supplying by the Water Board the NGO’s are requested to setup Chalivendras in the city in view of the summer by contacting concerned O&M GM’s.
