International Women's Day celebrations held at Board office on 06-03-2023 organized by Jalmandali Women's Welfare Association. Smt. Surabhi Vani Devi, MLC & Sri M. Dana Kishore, IAS Managing Director, HMWSSB attended as a chief guest and started the program by lighting the lamp.

On the occasion Smt. Surabhi Vani Devi said that Indian family culture is rich and the role of women cannot be forgotten. Women will work hard in whatever field they choose and reach higher position.

Sri M. Dana Kishore, Managing Director wished all the women employees on the occasion and said that if there are no women there is no life in the universe. The women employees working in the Water Board are doing great work along with what they are doing at home.

As a part of celebrations various types of competitions were conducted for women employees and prizes awarded to the winners.

Film Actress Kondapally Ruth Alekhya and young fashion designer Yamini, Smt. Sugandhini, President, Jalmandali Women's Welfare Association and women employees of the Board participated in the event.
